Qualifications For Our Rentals
You must call our office and make an appt to see property before an application can be submitted. We do not accept online applications.
When submitting applications:
- You must provide copies of paycheck stubs, Food Stamp letter, TANF benefits, Disability benefits or whatever your income is with your application.
- There is a $50 per application and $30 for co-signers. Application fee per adult or per married couple to be paid at the time the application is submitted.
- All income must be verifiable and must total 3X's the amount of the rent.
- You must have a valid SSN card
- As of 1/1/2023 rental insurance will be required
COMPANY POLICY REGARDING SERVICE ANIMALS
South Shore Realty, Inc. will consider all “Service Animals” as long as it meets all requirements as an assistance animal by the Fair Housing Standards.
A Request for Reasonable Accommodations form, and a doctors letter will be required at the time you turn in your application with a picture of the Service Animal. South Shore Realty, Inc. will provide the forms needed.
COMPANY POLICY REGARDING CRIMINAL HISTORY
South Shore Realty, Inc. screens all applicants for criminal history, rental history and collections. If there are any question or concerns regarding the results we will contact the applicant to discuss the results and request further information to determine qualification for renting.
Applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. If an application is submitted without all of the required paperwork we will take the next application that has all of the requirements completed.
